flemish region
The Flemish Region, often referred to as Flanders, is indeed one of the three regions of Belgium, alongside the Walloon Region and the Brussels-Capital Region. It is located in the northern part of the country and is predominantly Dutch-speaking. The Flemish Region is distinct from the Flemish Community, which includes both the inhabitants of the Flemish Region and the Dutch-speaking minority in the Brussels-Capital Region.
